Melody Urlich

Director
Melody joined Tailor Talent in 2021 bringing her extensive experience and vision to the company. Successfully establishing the Tailor Talent Contractors division while actively expanding the client base, her leadership skills and strategic insights were quickly acknowledged, and in 2023, she stepped into the position of Director. Demonstrating her commitment to the company and its mission, Melody acquired the business in 2024, becoming the sole Director. Under her guidance, Tailor Talent has continued to thrive and expand its reach in the industry.
Principal Consultant
With over 20 years of experience in HR and recruitment across New Zealand and the Middle East, Melody’s multidisciplinary expertise spans the entire recruitment life cycle. For the past 15 years, she has specialised in recruiting for the construction industry, where she has built extensive networks and developed a strong understanding of the construction and property markets, earning a solid reputation within the field. Having held senior consulting and management positions in both HR and internal recruitment teams she understands the commercial and cultural significance of effective resourcing. She recognises that navigating challenging markets requires a flexible and creative approach to meet the unique needs of each candidate and organisation.
